Extraordinary Minister for Healthcare

There are more than 3,000 Catholics in either a hospital or nursing home bed every day within the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Our Ministry to the Sick calls us to be present and to provide Holy Communion to those patients.  In our efforts to meet this growing demand, the Archdiocese has implemented a special training for those who are being called to this ministry.  We need your help.

Please see the attached schedule of training sessions for this very special ministry.

Please contact Deacon Jeff Tully, Hospital Chaplain Coordinator, at 504-227-3606 with any questions.
